If you are an organization, teacher, activist, or community organizer, we need you to partner with us to help get the word out about Judging Juries. We are at a pivotal moment in California where we may be able to create sufficient momentum for the new bill AB 881, which would increase juror pay throughout California to $100 per day. Assemblymember Phil Ting has just introduced the bill and it will be scheduled for hearings in March, 2023. There is no better time than now to work toward ending the $15 per day for jury service in California, which keeps many working people and people of color from being able to serve.
